We have already reported that Telugu star Jagapathi Babu and Daniel Balaji will play the main antagonist in Vijay 60, directed by Bharathan. The latest to join the cast list is Simran, who shares a great rapport with the actor. An official confirmation is awaited. Earlier, there were reports that Kajal Aggarwal would play Vijay's love interest in his 60th film but the team later signed Keerthy Suresh for the role. There is also a buzz that the film will have more than one heroine. The pooja of the film took place in Chennai recently in a low-profile ceremony. The shoot is likely to begin from the first week of May. Vijay 60 has music composed by Santhosh Narayanan and bankrolled by Vijaya Productions.
