The entire Tamil film industry is going through a major crisis at present after the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) had called for an indefinite strike after their growing dispute with the Digital Service Providers (DSPs).
Meanwhile, a meeting is said to have been convened between the TFPC and the Tamil Nadu Film Directors Association in which the multi-talented Simbu had reportedly taken part.
It is well known that there have been differences between Simbu and Vishal ever since the Nadigar Sangam elections last year.
Simbu, who took part in the meeting yesterday as he is a member of the Directors Association surprised many present there with his suggestions on tackling the ongoing crisis.
Apparently, Simbu’s open talk has left Vishal along with the other producers quite impressed and happy that the actor is pitching for more clarity in the crisis. This will no doubt be a big step forward in their relationship which had seen some rift over sometime and will also bring joy to both the actor’s fans.
