Bankrolled by Prabhu Thilak, under the banner 11: 11 Productions, it was earlier announced that his next project is titled as Walter, and will be directed a newcomer, Anbarasan. A couple of days ago the movie was launched with pooja and now, the movie is in trouble over its title. A produced named Singaravelan has proclaimed that the title "Walter" and the story is his, and that they are with him. He stated that if anyone's carrying the story and its title, severe action will be taken against them under the copyrights law.
Sources close to us claim that producer Singaravelan had launched "Walter", under his Madhukar movies banner with Anbarasan himself as the director that had Vikram Prabhu, Arjun and Jackie Shroff. But due to unknown reasons, it was delayed and the director eventually commenced this project and that eventually led to the controversy.
During the launch of Walter on June 14th, it was announced that Samuthirakani is playing a crucial role, along with Shirin Kanchwala as the female lead. Thuppakki Munai cinematographer Rasamathi will crank the camera for the movie. With Dharmaprakash's music, Walter will have the lyrics penned by Arun Bharathi. Touted to be a cop thriller, the unit was planning to go on floors from 14th June at Kumbakonam.
