Director Kodi Ramakrishnan, who gave us the enthralling Arundhati, is back with yet another fantasy thriller, Shiva Nagam, which is all set to hit the screens this Friday. Starring politician-actor Ramya in the lead, the film is originally made in Kannada. Interestingly, the 1970s film of the same name starred Vishnuvardhan and is considered as one of his landmark work. Ramya has also revealed that the film will be a tribute to the great actor Vishnuvardhan and his image has been reprised through visual effects and graphics, as a 140-foot-long snake. The VFX part of the film is handled by the creators of Naan Ee and Baahubali. The Tamil version will be released jointly by Sri Thenandal Films and Pen Movies.
