Shammu on a roll
Shammu of Kanchivaram and Mathiyosi fame is on a roll. The actress is currently busy with Prakashraj's production venture Mayilu. “After my previous film Mathiyosi, I received a lot of offers but I wasn’t able to accept them because I had to go back to the US to complete my studies. Right now, talks are in progress with director Samudhrakani for a Tamil film. My role in Mayilu is a beautiful one—it’s a completely deglamourised role of a Madurai-based girl who is assertive and talkative. It’s unfortunate that the movie is yet to see the light of day because even I’m eagerly waiting for its release,” she said.
There are also reports that the actress may star in director Samuthirakani's next project. Shammu will also make her Mollywood debut soon. More details are awaited!
