Shakthi, son of director P. Vasu, was out of action for quite sometime now. The actor is now back with his next film Padam Pesum, to be directed by Raghava. The movie is touted to be a thriller and Shakthi will be seen in a character with grey shades. Poorna of Vithagan fame will be seen pairing up with the actor. The director is confident that Shakthi will handle the complexity of the character very well.

Shakthi has earlier acted in movies like Thottal Poo Malarum and Ninaithale Inikkum. He was very well appreciated for his performance in Ninaithale Inikkum. He is currently also working in Vanjikottai Valiban and Kalla Siripazhaga.
