Initially, when Nayantara signed Nee Enge En Anbe, the remake of Kahaani, everyone had apprehensions over her commitment. But the actress has been professional throughout the film and surprised her director. Sekhar Kammula says that the performance delivered by Nayantara in Nee Enge En Anbe is by far her best ever performance.
Also, he had once seen Nayantara with groomed nails which he found cute. But he was causally discussing with Nayantara about her character in the film not sporting such groomed nails. She took this seriously and came out of her caravan after a few minutes with her nails cut.
