Coming out with massive expectations as a Pongal 2019 release, ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth’s Petta is easily one of the most awaited films in recent times. Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, the action entertainer has been produced under the Sun Pictures banner with chart-buster music by Anirudh Ravichander and a huge cast comprising names like ‘Makkal Selvan’ Vijay Sethupathi, Sasikumar, Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Simran, Trisha, Mahendran, Bobby Simha, Megha Akash, Guru Somasundaram, Sananth, Malavika Mohanan among others.
Post the tremendous response to the Petta teaser released on Rajinikanth’s birthday last week, the makers have now released the character poster of director turned actor Sasikumar, who will be playing a character named Maalik. It must be noted the character posters for Vijay Sethupathi as Jithu, Nawazuddin Siddiqui as Singaar Singh and Trisha as Saro released so far have gone on to be well-received with fans now awaiting a word on the film’s trailer.
