All set for a grand theatrical release this Diwali on November 6, ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay’s Sarkar audio launch is currently taking place at the Sai Ram Engineering College at Chennai in the presence of Oscar-winning composer A. R. Rahman.
Bankrolled under the Sun Pictures banner, Sarkar coming out on November 6 as a Diwali release has been directed by A. R. Murugadoss with Keerthy Suresh as the female lead apart from Varalaxmi Sarathkumar in a starring role.
That said, Keerthy Suresh’s full speech is now out and as follows:
"This is the biggest audio launch I have attended till date. Although A. R. Murugadoss sir look little, he's a giant when it comes to writing films. My lifelong wish of working in an A. R. Rahman film too has ben fulfilled in Sarkar."
She then stated, "Although Varalakshmi and I have worked in Sarkar and Sandakozhi 2, we don't have any combinations scenes, but I'm hopeful we will in the future."
As for working with Vijay, Keerthy said, "This is my second film with Vijay. Back then, he was 'Ilayathalapathy' but now he's become our 'Thalapathy'. Whenever I see him, I have nothing but respect for him."
Keerthy Suresh concluded her speech saying, "Regarding Sarkar, all I want to tell fans is, Adra Melattha, podra vediya, naanga Diwali ku varom".
