Hitting screens this Diwali amidst massive expectations, ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay’s Sarkar alongside Keerthy Suresh and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar as the female leads has fans everywhere quite excited already.
Directed by A. R. Murugadoss under the Sun Pictures banner with music by A. R. Rahman, the Sarkar audio launch has been progressing at the Sai Ram Engineering College at Chennai since late afternoon today.
With the Sarkar audio launch ongoing now, Sun Pictures' Kalanithi Maran's full speech is as follows:
"First up, my regards to 'Thalapathy' Vijay. I first heard Simtaangaran two months back and did not understand a single word. I was informed they were dummy lyrics up until last week when we decided to release the song as a single track with the same lyrics and called lyricist Vivek for his inputs. The words are no doubt quite different and the song which has been given life by A. R. Rahman is officially a superhit. I wish to tell that I still remember ARR saying, 'Ellapughazhum Iraivanuke" at the Oscars."
Kalanithi Maran then added, "A. R. Murugadoss is a producer's delight as he finished the film despite the film industry strike on the time he had promised."
He concluded his speech by speaking about Vijay saying, "Vijay is a very simple man and I wish he becomes the 'Thalapathy' of Indian cinema. After Rajinikanth, Vijay is the most simple actor of Tamil cinema."
