‘Thalapathy’ Vijay’s Sarkar directed by A. R. Murugadoss under the Sun Pictures banner is performing beyond expectations at the box office. Powered with music by A. R. Rahman, the film also starring Keerthy Suresh and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar released this Diwali amidst tremendous hype and several controversies has now entered the 200 crores club in a span of just 6 days.
Sarkar smashing its way to 200+ crores in worldwide gross comes after the film broke into the 150 crore club in four days and 100 crores within 2 days. It must be noted the action political thriller has also achieved the distinction of grossing 100+ crores in Tamil Nadu alone, which is truly astounding and beyond initial forecast. Despite all the controversies that have come its way, the film has succeeded in terms of satisfying hardcore Vijay fans with many returning to theatres for the film’s content.
