Thuppakki cinematographer Santosh Sivan is now planning to shoot a short film, which will highlighting the sorry state of farmers in Alleppey. The shoot of Murugadoss' Thuppakki is on hold because of the on going tussel in Kollywood. So the ace cameraman has now decided to do some thing different in his free time. The short film titled as A Portrait of a Kuttanad Farmer - celebrates the life of a farmer even as it addresses his hardships. He is also planning to release the film in selected screens. Meanwhile the Tamil version of his much awaited Urumi, which has Prithviraj and Genelia in lead roles, is all set to hit screens soon.
