Santhanam's next is Dhillukku Dhuddu 2 is, an upcoming sequel to one of the most famous horror films titled Dhillukku Dhuddu which hit the screens in 2016. This film is directed by Lollu Sabha fame Rambhala. Comedian turned hero Santhanam returns in the lead role with Shritha Sivadas making her acting debut in Tamil and will be joined by 'Motta' Rajendran, Vipin, Urvashi among others in pivotal roles.


There was a strong buzz for the film ever since the official announcement of the project, but it reached a taller peak after the release of its second teaser which included punch dialogues from 'Superstar' Rajinikanth's Petta and 'Thala' Ajith's Viswasam went on to be received well among audiences. The fans have been majorly waiting to know when this popular sequel will hit the big screens and the makers have remained quiet for a while now.
