Sangu Chakkaram, being billed as a kids fantasy horror film, hitting screens on December 29 stars Dhilip Subbarayan and Gheetha in lead roles under Maarison's direction.

The film has a shot at scoring big at the box office as it contains factors that will appeal to audiences of all age groups. Be it the horror, fantasy elements or the inclusion of kids as a reason to drive the plot forward, the masses will feel content if either of these aspects go on to click.

The recent Hollywood blockbuster IT too had similar elements, but was presented in a rather dark and raw format. Sangu Chakkaram, on the other hand, sticks to the tastes of Tamil audiences and can emerge to the top by the time the New Year rings in.
