2018 is the year of sequels and Naadodigal 2 will see filmmaker turned actor Samuthirakani helming the film along with Sasikumar in the lead role.


The sequel to Naadodigal, the 2009 blockbuster, Naadodigal 2, the upcoming film will feature Anjali as the female lead.


Actress Athulya Ravi too has been cast in a prominent role in the film.


Bharani and Namo Narayanan from the original film too are part of the cast and are joined by Justin Prabhakaran for the music.


Meanwhile, the first schedule of the sequel wrapped up not long back and the team will reportedly be commencing filming from tomorrow (09.03.2018) at Madurai.

It is said this schedule will comprise of a song being shot with all the stars of the film on March 11.


Expectations for Naadodigal 2 are quite high and we will have to wait and watch if the sequel goes on to surpass the success the original film achieved.
