Ace director S.S.Rajamouli is busy filming his multi starrer biggie, tentatively titled 'RRR', with Jr. NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles. The second schedule of this film went on floors on January 21st, 2019.

Actor and director Samuthirakani was widely speculated to be a part of this action thriller, however there was no official word on the same. Now, the Naadodigal director has officially confirmed his presence in the film, through an interview to a leading Tamil daily.

Apparently, Samuthirakani has been in touch with Rajamouli since his Naadodigal days and the duo have been sharing a good rapport since then. Talking about how he bagged that role, Samuthirakani revealed that Rajamouli asked him if he could play an important role, to which, the Vada Chennai actor instantly agreed.
