One of the most celebrity couples in the nation, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha entered wedlock last year in October.

Since then, the two have gone on to star in their own projects and once in one film, the recently released hit Savitri biopic, Mahanati, which was also titled as Nadigaiyar Thilagam in Tamil with Keerthy Suresh in the lead role.
Although Samantha had a prominent role in Mahanati/Nadigaiyar Thilagam, Naga Chaitanya portrayed his grandfather and iconic Telugu actor, Akkineni Nageswara Rao.
Meanwhile, it was announced a couple of days back that Samantha’s Tamil-Telugu film, U Turn, will be hitting screens on September 13.
Likewise, it has just been announced that Naga Chaitanya’s upcoming Telugu film, Shailaja Reddy Alludu will also be coming out on September 13.

It must be noted Samantha’s other Tamil film, Seema Raja, opposite Sivakarthikeyan is also set for a September 13 release.
As for Naga Chaitanya and Samantha in lead roles in the same film, they are attached to a project tentatively titled NC17 in Telugu, which will kickstart production soon.
