One of the most successful franchises in Indian cinema and Bollywood, the two Dabangg films, starring Salman Khan in the lead role have gone on to become massive hits and rank in the list of the highest-grossing films of India.
Currently standing as the eleventh highest grossing Indian film franchises, fans have been waiting for another film in the Dabangg series.
With both Dabangg released in 2010 and Dabangg 2 coming out in 2012 starring Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha and Arbaaz Khan, a lot has been spoken about the plans for the third installment tentatively titled as Dabangg 3 at this point.
Meanwhile, sources close to us have now revealed that the shooting plans for Dabangg 3 have been finalized and production will flag off on May 1 under Prabhu Deva’s direction.
As of now, we know for sure Salman Khan will be reprising his role as Chulbul Pandey and Sonakshi Sinha as Rajjo with Arbaaz Khan set to serve as the producer on the upcoming installment.
