As Salman Khan’s Bharat can be said to be one of the anticipated Bollywood films to be released next year. As the production of the film is in full swing the film has been caught in another unpleasant situation. The film’s crew was not able to shoot in the Wagah Border due to security reasons with the help of a local panchayat a village in Punjab was taken over as the preferred location where the set was put up. Farmers and traders were however paid to cover up their losses because of the set that was created there. The Wagah border scene required a Pakistan flag to be put on Indian soil.

Reports reveal that a lot of local bodies were upset of how a Pakistan flag could be hosted in Indian Soil. There have been issues earlier where Pakistan flags have been put out during India-Pakistan cricket matches. Local organizations have not just filed a complaint but have also surrounded the sets of the film to express their anger about how a Pakistan flag could be hoisted. The locals even fail to understand that it was just for a film shooting. Salman has returned to Mumbai with another court case to his name.
