Telugu filmmaker SS Rajamouli became a household name across India after his blockbuster epic action Baahubali films went on to make over 2000 crores at the worldwide box office and continues to be a staple for production houses, studios and directors to follow since then.

Ever since the Baahubali films had come out, fans had been waiting to know about what SS Rajamouli would be working on next. The reputed filmmaker last year then went on to announce a film titled RRR with Jr. NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles, which will be  fictitious story based on legendary freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharamaraju and Komaram Bheem. 

Set in the 1920s, RRR being made as only a single pan-Indian film and starring Jr. NTR and Ram Charan is being produced under the DVV Entertainment banner with Samuthirakani and Bollywood star Ajay Devgn in important roles, Alia Bhatt followed by British actress Daisy Edgar Jones as the female leads with music by M. M. Keeravani, K. K. Senthil Kumar handling the cinematography and Sreekar Prasad taking care of the editing.

With the film titled RRR for now, the makers will be taking into consideration the suggestions of local audiences and might implement a change for the title, if necessary prior to its theatrical release.

Announced to be coming out in 10 languages, RRR being made at a budget of Rs.350-400 crores budget will hit screens worldwide on July 30, 2020. Despite Ram Charan and Jr. NTR set to not have an equal screen space in the film, fans can expect a ripper when this next blockbuster-in-the-making lands in theatres worldwide next year.
