For a while now, there were reports stating the RJ turned actor would be entering politics. The popular star had made an announcement yesterday morning (May 18) stating he would be revealing an all important career decision by the evening.
RJ Balaji later in the day went on to announce he would be starring as the male lead in an upcoming Tamil political satire film titled, LKG, to be directed by Prabhu and produced by Dr. Ishari K. Ganesh thereby dispelling talks that he would be foraying into politics.

Furthermore, LKG will feature actress Priya Anand as the female lead, which will reportedly see her too being part of the political system at some point of the film.

Immediately after the announcement, there were reports stating LKG was a remake of the hit Kannada film, Humble Politician Nograj. However, those rumors were shut down immediately by the makers as it is an original script penned by RJ Balaji himself.
