A huge film in the making, Vijay’s upcoming Thalapathy 63 announced to hit screens as a Diwali release in October is being directed by Atlee under the AGS Entertainment banner, who are leaving no stone unturned to make it a grand treat for fans.

Filming on Vijay 63 has been progressing at top speed with all artistes and technicians giving it their full in terms of commitment as well as efforts considering the film is going to heavily revolve around the sport of Football, which has fans mighty excited considering the superstar was being featured in ventures that had heavy political themes.

Meanwhile, there have been reports of late stating Vijay had allotted a call sheet of 100 days to to shoot Thalapathy 63 with Atlee apparently feeling the need to film more portions with the star for an additional 40 days.

That said, we had gotten in touch with our sources close to the film, who have now revealed that the news doing the rounds is being presented in an incorrec manner. The truth is Vijay had agreed to shoot for 140 days upfront and Atlee requesting the actor for additional number of days is being misinterpreted.

It must be noted that Vijay agreeing to shoot for 140 days is perhaps the highest for a call sheet the actor has probably given till date for any of films in his entire career and goes on to show how big Thalapathy 63 is going to be in terms of the physical effort being invested by the star.

Being billed to be an action-packed sports entertainer, Thalapathy 63 will also see Nayanthara playing the female lead in a Vijay film for the second time after their Villu, released in 2009. The upcoming film will also include names like Kathir, Vivek, Jackie Shroff, Indhuja, Daniel Balaji, Anandaraj, Yogi Babu, Reba Monica John, Varsha Bollamma, Amritha Iyer, Dheena, Soundararaja, Devadarshini, ‘Thaadi’ Balaji among others in major supporting roles with Oscar-winning composer A. R. Rahman contributing on the musical front.
