Director Kodi Ramakrishnan, who gave us the enthralling Arundhati, is back with yet another fantasy thriller, Shiva Nagam, which is all set to hit the screens this Friday. The latest is that the film is facing few roadblocks in Tamilnadu due to the ongoing Cauvery spat. It is to be noted that Tamil films are facing an unofficial ban in Karnataka for almost a month now.

Starring politician-actor Ramya in the lead, the film is originally made in Kannada. Interestingly, the 1970s film of the same name starred Vishnuvardhan and is considered as one of his landmark work. The VFX part of the film is handled by the creators of Naan Ee and Baahubali. The Tamil version is released jointly by Sri Thenandal Films and Pen Movies.
