A multi-starrer unlike any other in recent times, Karthik Subbaraj’s Petta under the Sun Pictures banner with music by Anirudh Ravichander and starring none other than ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth has gone on to generate spectacular curiosity and interest among fans.
With production on Petta in full swing, Rajinikanth and one of the film’s stars Trisha today paid a visit to the Kashi Vishwanath temple at Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.
Taking to her Twitter page, Trisha tweeted her spiritual visit to the holy temple while also praising Rajinikanth calling him a "God-like man".

Petta is without a doubt one of the biggest films in production with an ensemble cast featuring the likes of ‘Makkal Selvan’ Vijay Sethupathi.
Director turned actor Sasikumar is also part of Petta’s cast.
Acclaimed veteran director Mahendran, who starred as the antagonist in Vijay’s Theri joined the Petta team few days back.
The 165th film of Rajinikanth will also include Simran and Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui in vital roles.
A regular collaborator of Karthik Subbaraj, Bobby Simha has an important role in Petta.

The up-and-coming Megha Akash has landed a role too in Petta.
