Also starring Keerthy Suresh, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Radha Ravi, Pala. Karuppiah and Yogi Babu with music by A. R. Rahman, this action political drama has become a smajor ubject of controversy post its release raising the ire of the ruling state government.

Meanwhile, as soon as news surfaced of the demand to remove certain scenes in the film, many from the Tamil film fraternity expressed their displeasure including ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth, who took to Twitter to say, “To demand the removal of scenes from a film after it has been cleared by the censor board as well as protesting against it and causing damage to physical property is against the law. I strongly condemn such actions.”
