The title and motion poster of Superstar Rajinikanth's mega venture with director Karthik Subbaraj under the Sun Pictures banner was revealed on Friday. The film has been titled ‘Petta’
In the motion poster, Rajinikanth can be seen wearing his trademark cooling glass and was holding a candle stand in his left hand. Rajinikanth was wearing a jacket and a scarf and was walking inside a church. The church seems to be in mayhem. Piano shatters when the music director Anirudh's name appears and the poster says Karthik Subbaraj 'Padam'. Anirudh’s small BGM in the motion poster adds more power. Anirudh has smartly added the sound of Rajinikanth's footsteps when he enters the church and the famous 'Heyy.. Heyy..' scream in the background which brings back memories from Rajinikanth's 'Baasha'.
Thalaivar 165 has a star-studded cast of Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Bobby Simha, Trisha Krishnan, Simran. Megha Akash is also rumored to be in the cast as well. Anirudh will be scoring the music for the film.
