With the entire state and the Tamil film fraternity raising their voices against the violence on the people protesting against the Sterlite factory in Tuticorin yesterday, actor turned politician Rajinikanth too has now registered his views on the incident.
Taking to his Twitter page, Rajinikanth in a video message stated, "The government has mixed politics in the sterlite protest with the help of the intelligence department as well as the police force, which resorted to action in the most violent and barbaric manner possible, is something I condemn strongly. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the members of the families who have lost their dear ones."
