Yesterday saw Tamil cinema’s biggest and most iconic stars come together to convey wishes and discuss with each other their futures as well as their own political plans.
Rajinikanth, who played host to Kamal Haasan at his residence, spoke to the press after their meeting saying he wishes his contemporary for the best on his future endeavors.
The 'Superstar' further stated each of them has their own style in selecting films and that their political decisions too will be on similar lines.
The Kaala star in his statement concluded saying Kamal Haasan is not a person who is entering politics for the sake of money or fame and that they both have only one intention within themselves - to serve the people.
On the other hand, Kamal Haasan after his meeting with Rajinikanth, during his interaction with the press stated he decided to meet the 'Superstar' since he is one of the people he likes and respects most.
The 'Ulaganayagan' went on to say his meeting with Rajinikanth was not for any political motivation, but only on friendly terms.
We will now have to wait and see how things play out between the two in the days ahead as they will be see on the common political battlefield.
