One of the most successful films of 2018 was the rom-com, Pyaar Prema Kaadhal, directed by debutant Elan with music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, who also made his debut as a producer under his YSR Films banner. Starring Harish Kalyan and Raiza Wilson in the lead roles, this film went on to leave a lasting impression among audiences and critics with many laurels for cinematographer Raja Bhattacherjee, who mesmerized us with his visuals.
Raja Bhattacherjee has now chosen to be the winner for the Best Debutant Cinematographer at the BOFTA Galatta Debut Awards 2018 presented by director Radhamohan and actor Santhana Bharathi along with sponsor presenter and cinematographer Balasubrmanaiem. In his speech, Raja Bhattacherjee thanked the director of Pyaar Prema Kaadhal, Elan, for the opportunity to work with such a vibrant young team in the film. Director Radhamohan, who presented the award, went on to laud the idea of Debut Awards and extended his wishes to Galatta and BOFTA.
