The final schedule of the much awaited movie Purampokku is going on in full swing. We hear that the film will be released in January, 2015. This film is directed by S.P. Jhananathan and the star cast includes Arya, Vijay Sethupathi, Karthika Nair and Shaam in central roles.
Producer UTV Dhananjayan earlier tweeted, “#Purampokku will be our next release in Jan'15. The film's shoot is nearing completion after shooting a long schedule in the jail set. #Purampokku will be a major solo release, whichever day it releases. Will not pitch against any major film in Jan'15 & will decide that time."
Purampokku will portray Arya as a social activist, Vijay Sethupathi as a railway employee and Shaam as a cop.
