Producer turned actor Kulasekaran, popularly referred to as 'Pattiyal' Sekar in the Tamil film industry circles as well as father to director Vishnuvardhan of Billa and Arrambam fame and actor Krishna, passed away early morning today due to cardiac arrest.
'Pattiyal' Sekar had produced hit films namely Pattiyal, Kazhugu and Alibaba as well as starring as the prime antagonist in the smash 2015 hit film, Rajathandhiram.
It must be noted 'Pattiyal' Sekar had a major role in shaping both his sons' careers in the initial stages and it will indeed be a great loss for them.
