Charulatha, Priyamani's upcoming movie under Pon Kumaran's direction, and distributed by Sax Pictures, has been simultaneously shot in Kannada and Tamil. The Kannada version is being dubbed into Malayalam, and the Tamil into Telugu, and all four languages are expected to release simultaneously! The Tamil and Telugu versions of this movie, which stars Priyamani as conjoined twins, are all set for release on 21st September! The makers of Charulatha, sent the movie for censor certification, and have cleared it by bagging a clean U! Pon Kumaran is a former associate of veteran K. Bhagyaraj, and K.S. Ravikumar. Charulatha is said to be an adaptation of the Thai horror movie, Alone!
