A lot of commotion has occurred in Tripura after the removal of Russian revolutionary Lenin’s statue followed by Bharatiya Janata Party politician H. Raja’s subsequent tweet on Twitter suggesting the razing of Dravidian leader and social reformer Periyar’s statues in Tamil Nadu, which has now fetched the ire of actor Prakash Raj.
For a while now, Prakash Raj has been a critic of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his policies.
With the statue politics taking centre-stage right now, Prakash Raj took to his Twitter page once again to question PM Narendra Modi and his stance on the ongoing crisis.
#leninstatue #periyarstatue #spmukherjeestatue vandalised...Whats your agenda..what are you teaching our children oi¿½™i¿½oi¿½™i¿½please stop this statue politics.. violence breeds violence ..What was your election manifesto ..development or settling scores and goondaism .??....#justasking— Prakash Raj (@prakashraaj) March 7, 2018
It must be noted the actor also took a jab on BJP President Amit Shah on Twitter yesterday regarding his party cadre's actions in Tripura over the demolition of Lenin's statue.
Amith shah ji ... to tell the people of our country as to what your agenda is and the way governing is going to be in #tripura ...your cadre could not even wait for vote marks on the fingers to dry.. nor for the first day at office to begin .. #goondaism #antidemocratic #lenin pic.twitter.com/kUsL0nCXmY— Prakash Raj (@prakashraaj) March 6, 2018
