Poornima Bhagyaraj back after 26 years
After a gap of 26 years, former actress Poornima Bhagyaraj, well known for her performances in numerous Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi films during the 70s and 80s, is back in acting.
The actress, who quit films after her marriage with director, actor, producer and script writer Bhagyaraj, recently appeared before the camera for an ad for leading oil brand Idayan’s Mantra Groundnut Oil.
The ad film, featuring Poornima alongside her husband Bhagyaraj, was recently directed by popular ad filmmaker Lekha Rathnakumar in two days.
Poornima's notable films are Ente Mamattikkuttiyammakku, Oomakkuyil, Karyam Nissaram, Marakkillorikkalum, Prasnam Gurutharam, Ithiri Neram Othiri Karyam, Njan Ekananu, Padayottam, Manjil Virinja Pookkal, Thanga Magan, Nenjamellam Neeye, Payanangal Mudivathillai and Kilinjalgal.
