Kalki's epic novel Ponniyin Selvan still remains as a dream for many Tamil directors. Even legends like Mani Ratnam tried to bring the story on screen but it couldn't materialize. The latest to join the list is Selvaraghavan, who has expressed his desire to film the epic. "Ponnyin Selvan is just a dream. Casting is just an idea. But its not my next or anything," Selva said.
The director also posted his desired cast list on his social networking site.
