With the Pongal season approaching, movies are lining up for a grand release. This year we will see four films hitting the screens. Ilayathalapathy's Bairavaa releases first on 12th January and it is expected to take up maximum number of screens. Vijay Sethupathi’s Puriyaadha Pudhir and GV Prakash's Bruce Lee release the next day whereas Shanthnu starrer Kodita Idangalai Nirapuga will arrive on 14th January.

The other four films (Adhe Kangal, Kuttram 23, Enakku Vaaitha Adimaigal and Yakkai) which were queued up for Pongal are out of the race because of various reasons.
