One of the most awaited release in STR-Varalaxmi starrer Podaa Podi is all set for a Deepavali releaser. The film received a clean U certificate from the Censor Board today.
It is said that in the film Varalaxmi plays the role of a Latin American dancer who hails from London while Simbu's specialty will be hip-hop from India. Jeffery Vardon plays Varalaxmi's instructor and yesteryear diva Shobana also appears in a prominent role.
Podaa Podi is produced by Gemini and Padam Kumar and as the title suggests, the film is an energetic rom-com, directed by debutant Vignesh.
