Looks like Prime Minister Narendra Modi's announcement to ban 500 and 1000 rupee notes with immediate effect has gained traction for Vijay Anthony. The move has been welcomed by a majority of people. But what caught our attention was a scene from Vijay Anthony's Pichaikkaran, where a beggar will describe the same idea to eradicate black money. Modi's announcement was more like a reel scene turning real. Following the hype, we now hear that the team is planning to make a sequel in both Tamil and Telugu. Saithan was directed by Sasi and was an instant hit at the box office.
Meanwhile, Vijay Anthony's Saithan release, which was scheduled on Nov 17, has been postponed indefinitely due to rupee demonetization. Saithan is released by Mahesh Govindaraj of Auraa cinemas.
