The shooting of Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming biggie Petta with director Karthik Subbaraj is happening at a brisk phase and team is working around the clock.

Dance Choreographer Sheriff has been roped in for Rajinikanth's Petta and the talented dancer has completed a song for Thalaivar. In a recent interview with Galatta, Sheriff has opened up about his experience working with Superstar Rajinikanth.

About getting the opportunity to work in Petta, Sheriff revealed, “I was very happy and I called Karthik Subbaraj to wish him. I said, Bro... I am very happy to see your name in a Rajinikanth sir film... I was very happy. Immediately after that, I said that I didn’t call you to ask for a song. I had no idea about the song but the associate directors of the film hinted that I would eventually do a song in the movie. But I didn’t believe at that time. It's a Rajinikanth movie, so I thought they might have a regular team. Then they called me and gave me that song. It has come out very well. Rajini sir did an amazing job in the song”

About Rajinikanth, Sheriff said, “When I saw him for the first time I couldn’t believe that he is the superstar because he was so simple. For his name and how he handles a person is totally different. I have never seen a down to earth person like him. I admired him”

“One thing that I learned from Rajini sir is his dedication. He will just sit there even if gets so late and has so much patience. End to end he knows that he has come here to work and will do anything for it. He is so clear and he loves his job so much. He tries different things repeatedly for a scene and he is a man packed with dedicationSheriff added.

Petta also has ‘Makkal Selvan’ Vijay SethupathiTrishaSimran, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Bobby Simha, Ramdoss and music by Anirudh Ravichander, Petta is expected to come out in 2019.
