The stage is set for ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth’s Petta coming out on January 10, 2019 as a Pongal treat. Directed by Karthik Subbaraj under the Sun Pictures banner with rocking songs by Anirudh Ravichander, the action entertainer also includes a power-packed cast featuring names like ‘Makkal Selvan’ Vijay Sethupathi, Sasikumar, Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Simran, Trisha, Mahendran, Bobby Simha, Megha Akash, Guru Somasundaram, Sananth, Malavika Mohanan among others.
With less than a week now for the film’s release, the lyric video for the smash hit romantic song, “Ilamai Thirumbudhe” from Petta has now been released online and can be viewed below:
Expectations for Petta are tremendous post the release of the film’s teaser and the action-packed trailer few days back along with the character posters that have come out up until date. Although not much is known about the plot at this point, we know for sure it involves a flashback, which leads to life-altering events for Rajinikanth’s character in the film.
