Fans of 'Superstar' Rajinikanth have been on cloud nine ever since the actor made it official he was entering the political arena.

Many have been in a celebratory mood since the announcement, but People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has now posed a request to the actor to advise his fans and followers on the act of conducting feasts that involve the sacrifice of animals.

It is said Rajinikanth’s fans have planned a formal puja and a feast that would involve goat sacrifice (keda vettu) on January 7 as it is believed the actor would reportedly launch his political party.

PETA has also tweeted their request to Rajini citing the goats sacrifice in his name should be stopped.

With Rajnikanth making all preparations for his political entry, it now remains to be seen if he will respond to PETA’s request and whether this would mark his first political decision.
