People of Sivakasi: Arrest warrant issued?
Our Galatta.com users may remember the breaking news that the Advocate's Committee had filed a case against the team of the movie Sivakasi - Producer A.M Rathnam, Director Perarasu, Illayathalapathy Vijay and Comedian Baskar - for showing some scenes in the movie which they felt was derogatory to the community of advocates. Following this, the same 4 people yesterday have allegedly been issued arrest warrants in this issue; and that they have to appear at a particular date at the Arcot Court with respect to these proceedings.
However, Director Perarasu has denied any such incident and said that no one has been issued any such arrest warrant regarding this issue.
Let us wait and see whether the news is true or not.
