Looks like filmmaker Sundar C is all set to wield the megaphone for India's costliest film. His mega budget venture, which is in the pre-production stage, will be bigger that 2.0 and Baahubali. Reportedly, the film has been titled as Sanghamitra. Bankrolled by Sri Thenandal Films, the film will be shot in a span of 2 years, and will be made in three languages--Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. AR Rahman has been roped in as the music director, Sabu Cyril for artworks, Aseem Mishra (of Baajirao Mastani fame) for cinematography and Kamalkannan for VFX.

Initially, Suriya's name was associated with the project but he thrashed the rumours by signing an entertainer for Ranjith. The latest is that the team has reportedly approached VIjay and Mahesh Babu to play the lead in the Tamil and Telugu versions respectively. The team is planning to have a pan-India cast list and a section of the media has reported that the latest to join the list is actor-filmmaker Parthiepan.
