Director-actor-producer Parthiepan's previous project Koditta Idangalai Nirappuga did middling business at the box-office. Now, it looks like the actor has been roped in by Gautham Menon for Dhruva Natchathiram. He will be playing a pivotal role but it is not clear whether he will play the antagonist or not. The first schedule of Dhruva Natchathiram was wrapped up in Coonoor and the team shot some important portions in Chennai. Recently, actress Any Emmanuel who was initially roped in to be Vikram's pair was replaced by Telugu actress Ritu Varma.
