The shooting of Vijay Sethupathi's much awaited Pannaiyaarum Padminiyum is nearing completion. After Balaji Mohan's Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi and Karthik Subbaraj's Pizza, Pannaiyarum Padminiyum is third short film to follow the trend. The film is directed by debutant Arun Kumar. Also in the starcast are Jayaprakash, Ishwarya and Sneha.
The story of the film is about an old man and his craze for the vintage car Premier Padmini. Music is composed by Justin Prabhakaran and cinematography by Gokul Benoy. Seven times National Award winning editor Sreekar Prasad will handle the editing
