The much-awaited third season of the popular television reality show, Bigg Boss kick started on June 23rd in a grand manner. The show began with an opening ceremony airing in Vijay TV, hosted by Ulaga Nayangan Kamal Haasan. The third season began with 15 contestants entering the Bigg Boss house on the first day and two more contestants were expected to enter the house as wild card entry.
Usually, the wild card participants enter the house almost after 40 to 50 days but the other participants were not satisfied with the process as the wild card entrants spend fewer days than the others. As a solution for the wild card issue, the Bigg Boss team has decided to send the wild card entrants into the house as soon as possible. As a surprise, the 16th and the first wild card contestant entered the Bigg Boss house on the second day of the show itself.
The new contestant is none other than the supermodel and actress Meera Mithun. Meera Mithun won the title of Miss South India in 2016 and made her film debut in Sri Ganesh's 8 Thottakkal.
