The third season of the hit reality TV show, Bigg Boss, in Tamil is off to a rocking start with day one’s events already being widely discussed among fans across social networking forums. Host Kamal Haasan introduced the 15 contestants participating in the show with the list revealed to include names like Fathima Babu, director Cheran, Mohan Vaidya, Sherin, Losliya, Paruthiveeran Saravanan, Sakshi Agarwal, Abhirami Venkatachalam, Kavin, Vanitha Vijayakumar, Madhumitha, Mugen Rao, Tharshan, Sandy, and Reshma Pasupuleti. However, Kamal Haasan had stated that he was given 17 cards during the Bigg Boss 3 inauguration ceremony after which he revealed he didn’t know why the two additional cards were presented to him leaving many fans quite confused. Since then, rumors sprung up stating the two cards included the names of two new contestants, who will be appearing on the show soon.
Unlike the first two seasons in which new contestants are introduced towards the middle of the show as Wild Card Entrants, it is being said the ongoing third season of Bigg Boss will see these two new contestants make their entry in the beginning of the show and in less than in span of a month’s time. Among the two participants, there are speculations that model turned actress Meera Mithun will most likely be entering the Bigg Boss house soon. She made her acting debut in the smash hit, 8 Thottakkal, while also playing the role of Kalaiyarasan's wife in Suriya’s Thaanaa Serndha Koottam. Having said that, we will now have to play the waiting game to know if Meera Mithun is indeed going to take part in Bigg Boss 3.
With Bigg Boss 3 already underway, the response for the show as well as the new contestants have been largely positive and many expect the ongoing edition to be as engrossing and drama-filled as the previous two seasons, which had model turned actor Arav being declared as the winner of the first season and actress Riythvika chosen as the winner in the second season.
