Vijay Sethupathi's third production venture and second project as a writer is titled Chennai Palani Mars and the film is directed by Biju. Biju had earlier directed Orange Mittai with Vijay Sethupathi. Chennai Palani Mars is said to star new talents as lead actors and the cast has the names Praveen Raja, Rajesh Giriprasad, A.Ravikumar, Madankumar Dakshinamoorthy, Paari Elavazhagan, Vasant Marimuthu, S Imthias Mohamed, Vin Haadri, R Krishnamoorthy, KA Manigandan and Allwin. Apart from directing it, Biju also happens to be the cinematographer and editor of the film. The first look poster of this film was launched by Vijay Sethupathi on May 22nd and was followed by an interesting teaser a few weeks back.
It is announced that Chennai Palani Mars will be out on the big screens on July 26th and with just days away, the team has released the trailer of the film. The trailer looks intriguing and the movie could give another success for Vijay Sethupathi. Here is the trailer,
