A film that has generated quite a lot of debate as well as controversy, Padmavat, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali jointly produced under the Bhansali Productions and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures banners now has a release date.
According to latest reports, Padmavat starring Shahid Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Aditi Rao Hydari will be releasing on January 25, 2018.
Initially titled Padmavati, the CBFC had issued a U/A certificate to Padmavat, which will now clash with the Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte starrer, Pad Man.
It must be noted that Padmavat is also being dubbed in Tamil and Telugu.
