A film announcement that left everybody excited a while back was Kalavani 2, which is titled K2 with actress Oviya in the lead role.
A sequel to the 2010 hit, Kalavani, this sequel is being directed once again by Sarkunam with filming at present taking place at Thanjavur.
Meanwhile, Vemal is reprising his role from the original film in K2 and is shooting a song with Oviya amidst the backdrop of an ancient house, which reportedly will be a major highlight with filming expected to be wrapped up on June 22.
Furthermore, RJ Vignesh, who made a notable impression in last year’s Meesaya Murukku will be replacing Soori in this upcoming sequel.
